A sugar bowl and creamer set contained in a sterling silver caddy by George A. Henckel, New York City. In business 1909-1940. Caddy which is raised on 4 bun feet has ornate reticulation to handle and crystal compartments. Fancy engraved capital A at top of handle. Bowl and creamer are of heavy lead crystal and are carved in "rock crystal" style with blooming flowers. Glass is unmarked. Overall height of assemblage is 6 inches. Weight of sterling is 128 grams. Very good condition. Some abrasion on bottom of sugar. Slight bending (straightened) at one ball foot.
