A granite ware perforated pan strainer in blue and white enamels with a black enameled bowl rim. Bowl perforated with twenty 17-hole circles. One circle partially blocked by handle attachment. There is a flattened blue enameled ring brazed to the bowl opposite the handle for supporting the strainer over a larger vessel. The handle is drilled for hanging. Bowl diameter is about 5-3/4 inches. Overall length is 12-1/4in. The beautiful deep blue enamel is quite thick even making some bubbles on the under side where it puddled at the rim. Overall condition good. Possibly French. No mark. C. 1920.
