$450.00

SOLD. SOLD. A pair of table lamps made from Parian Ware ewers. Sculpted with grape clusters, vines and tendrils. Twining vine handles. Short power cords as if they might have been used on a fireplace mantle, etc. There are no shades offered. Each has a harp and 3-way socket installed. Height to the top of the socket is 20-3/4 inches. They are not signed. They are undamaged. Parian Ware is an unglazed stoneware body which was originally developed in England to mimic the marble used in figural sculpture so as to be able to produce copies of the great works at a lower cost. It has a look of its own and has been used for all sorts of ware. Lamps are C. 1940.
